I'm not sure there's anyone whom I would entrust with an engine rebuild, as JLR don't make many part available.
Better to fit a second hand engine with a known history or a JLR exchange engine.

To be fair to QPOnline their Accounts show a director's loan of £50,000 which means the director is financing the Company and explains the deficit Balance Sheet.
Just to be clear, I don't have any association with this company nor am I suggesting that the advice from NJSS is incorrect.Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector
Limo Tint
Blackvue front & rear dashcam
Cruise control switch pack
Bodsy's remote for FBH
The director has made a loan of £50k and the company is dependant upon his continued support; he has confirmed that he will support the company "for the foreseeable future".
Anyone dealing with this company, or any other company, should look at the filed accounts, and reach their own conclusion with this information in mind.

Any reviews on either qponline or lr technic
It too has an undesirable balance sheet - net liabilities £1,824 being current assets of £3,918 (down from £15,767 in 2017) less creditors of £5,742 (£11,432 in 2017).
Neither company appears to guarantee the other.

If you are prepared to travel from the midlands to Maidstone, how about the midlands up to Disco Mikey for an engine swap - worth dropping him a note

I was hoping these engines could be reconditioned , as it’s getting hard to find 2nd hand engines And a genuine jlr is about 10k
They are doing a remufactured one but have no idea when that’s available rrp on this around £6100 plus vat for long engine
It might be worth trying Turner Engineering in Surrey who are a specialist re-manufacturer of Land Rover engines and supplier of engine parts. They have been around for at least 30 years.
I don't think they do D3 & D4 engines yet, but it might be worth talking to them:-

Does it have to be a rebuild, Equicar at Bilston just down the road from you have one listed on the bay, there’s two or three from various breakers listed, would be a little more confident regarding a legitimate one from a breaker than a back street rebuild.
