Oops I forgot something when installing new inner Tie Rods

Tidying up the garage today and found some little sachets of grease that came with my tie rod stuff boots and clips from AF's. I didn't use them Big Cry where was I supposed to apply it?

There’s only a few ml’s of the stuff in the sachet. The new inner rods were ready lubed, so much so it was falling out the inner joint
I was hoping someone was going to say the grease was just for if you were replacing the boots over existing inner rods as this as the pack they came with.
Sounds like I need to slip them (boots) off and rub my grease loaded finger over anything I can touch inside the boot? Or would I be better sourcing more of the stuff and packing it in?

Easiest way is with a grease gun if you have one, take the nozzle off the end of the gun and push the pipe under the boot and give it 4 or 5 pumps Thumbs Up

That’s what I’ll do then. Should I be squirting back towards the rack at all or towards the ball joint?

Towards the ball joint, don’t over do it.

Ball joint is new and already oozing grease - now thinking/hoping I should leave as job done, and the sachet was just for new boots on old joints. Think I'm overworking my oversight and should just enjoy the new ride - which btw has transformed the beast!
