| D4 key fob battery keeps going flat |

Hi all thankfully it has been a while since my last call for help, but recently my key fob battery keeps going flat? at first I just used my spare key fob with a brand new Duracell cr2032 this lasted 48 hours before it was completely dead and not opening the doors, luckily I had by then bought some more batterys so put a new one in the original key fob and it worked fine, this has lasted 3 months but again today it went flat and wouldn't let me unlock it, I now have another spare in my wallet in case this happens when I am out and about as luckily the problems have all been whilst at home (so far)
It is a 2013 Disco with 70k and in daily use
Any helpful advise would be gratefully received and I am going to check the manual first thing tomorrow to see what to do if I don't have a spare fob battery.

buy a load of batteries and stick them in the car !!
all I can think is your fob is constantly pressing one of the buttons on the circuit board.
(or you're sitting on it … like my dad does with his phone. we all know he does it as it has an emergency button which then automatically calls or texts everyone in the family  )
