Pre purchase advice
Looking at a 2008 discovery 3 with 118k. First time owner. I had a series 3 many years ago, but nothing newer.
The attached photos are from the advert. A friend thinks there amount of corrosion could be an issue.
Would this worry anyone?
On the rear photo there appears to be oil residue on the upper suspension. Where could this be from and what should I be looking at.
Thanks for any advice.

I seen new ones that are rusty. The metal is quite thick and if its treated properly now it souldnt be a problem.
I would have a good look around the bottom of the sills, they tend to rust under the plastic sill covers especially if it has side steps.Andrew
