D4 Revamp Orkney Grey
Hello Everyone,
It’s time to start doing some mods to our D4 62plate HSE in Orkney Grey, I am wanting to put black alloys and grills on it. Though are looking for some photos to prove to my self it’s going to look great.
I’ve googled to death Orkney Grey with black pack though can’t find any photos showing this.
If you have some photos please share.
We've had the D4 for 5 years now and it’s been great some small niggles along the way, though no major dramas like you hear about (I’ve jinxed it now).
Also I am thinking of getting the under side wax oiled, is it worth it? I intend to keep this now for ever so wanting to future proof as much as possible.
It does spend a good part of its life Offroad too.
Cheers

Stornaway grey is the best I can do (I do prefer Orkney grey on the newer D4s, just that touch darker is perfect)

Excellent, they all look great don’t know why I’ve not done this sooner.
Is it better to buy new grills black or just get existing ones painted?
I see there’s loads of company’s online that sell the grills though not LR, do they stand the test of time like the original ones?
