Maxxraxx fitting

Hi I know a few of you have these so hopefully just me being stupid.

I’ve eblagged a bike rack -4 bike easyfixx thing with the foot plate which is meant to attach to the std swan neck towbar, except it’s like it’s too fat. I’ve not got instructions though. I’m assuming it’s meant to sit behind the ball on the neck. From internet pics looks like 1 bolt at the top, 2 at the bottom, can’t seem to get it sat right so I can get the triangle plate and the bits on.

Hopefully here’s a pic of what I have.

Anyone got a pic of theirs fitted or the instructions?

Cheers

Righty back from hollibobs and even with the instructions from woody looks like the bolts are too short - presumably there’s a difference between the defender kit and the discovery one.

Worth trying to sort bolts or just sell it and buy a 4/5 bike one to replace it? (Anyone got one in the shed?)

Cheers

It was long time ago when I bought my Maxxrack, but they did insist on a professional fitting at one of their recommended fitters if using the removable swan neck.

Sorry the instructions didn't work out.

I've got a 5 bike Maxxraxx for Discovery 3 / 4 (includes light hanger and Lighting board) for sale (not posted it in for sale section yet). It has only been used 3 or 4 times for 2 bikes and is like new. Tow bar adapter is still built up so you only need to slot your tow bar into it. Wanting £160 + postage (or collection via D3 Courier network).
