D3 2008 2.7 e.p.b issue

Hello all new to d3's have just replaced rear arms also had e.p.b jam on me before hand stripped it down cleaned regreased all components. Put back together & all I get is Park brake fault error come up red p symbol flashing. If press switch it says park brake fault system not functional. Any ideas why much appreciated kind regards martin.

Welcome to the forum! You will need the codes read, it isn't always a doom scenario it may be something simple like a faulty hand brake switch. Invest is a good diagnostic tool like GAP IID BT, you're going to need it Thumbs Up

did you open the "epb" and when changing control arms did you check and adjust the park brake shoes while you had it in bits.

Yes I did open epb I did notice some water in there aswell when I opened it. All brakes have been adjusted & reset. Went to turn vehicle on first time & got that error message & handbrake wont do anything at all not on or off. A bit stumped & then battery went flat so put on charge & going to see what happens.

I haven't got a code reader. So anybody in Warwickshire willing to help I will pay you obviously. Just don't trust garages. Or if anybody can recommend 1.
