Hdc, special programs not available NORFOLK

Hi guys iv got a poorly 2007 disco 3 2.7, had the HDC, SPECIAL PROGRAMS NOT AVAILABLE, PARK BREAK faults pop up on the dash, took it to JSF LANDROVER in Norwich for a diagnostic test, well wasnt the best news iv had 22 fault codes but the main 3 are
P0489C_00 EGR B
P0489_00 EGR
P00088_00 FUEL RAIL/SYSTEM PRESSURE TOO LOW
the worst is new fuel pressure pump, poss fuel rail sensor or even just a filter
An the egr need blanking
Look for advice and or anyone local with experience to help guide me, as the price quoted is 3k an I dont have the money for that but dont have the experience to try the work myself, changing a head on a 200tdi is a piece of cake compared to this.

Thanks guys.

Re - HDC, SPECIAL PROGRAMS NOT AVAILABLE, PARK BRAKE faults
Sometimes can be a sign of a failing battery

EGR's can show as a fault code if they are blanked and can be ignored if no symptoms

I had the same problem with my V8. Christmas tree went away after restarting but came back soon.
After replacing brake switch, battery, brake light bulbs, checking the cables under the sill and the thingy behind battery as suggested here the lights still didn‘t go away.
Turned out the new genuine replacement brake switch was faulty, too Shocked
Now everything is back to normal.

Always start with the simple/cheap stuff first.
New quality filter, then have a read here, https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic130062.html

Yep, classic case of poorly battery. D3s are heavy on batteries and yours may be on its way out.

Get yourself a new battery, or have yours checked and properly charged if it's ok.

Then get your codes cleared and has been suggested get a new brake light switch. ( cheap & easy stuff first)

Not sure if there is a forum member who covers your area, do a search as there may be a mobile tech who can sort your woes
