Read A/C blowing warm

I just noticed today my 2007 lr3 hse is blowing warm air in the rear seats (when it should be in air conditioning mode!).
Front blows cold (coolish, not ice cold - definitely not warm).

I opened the access hatch in the trunk to see the rear a/c parts. I touched the metal ac lines and one was warm, the other was HOT (burned my finger). If that gives you any clues?
Any suggestions on what the problem is or what to check first?

Thanks

There are rear ac pipes on the underside of the ladder chassis. They are wrapped on a foam like material. This holds moisture like a sponge and the pipes can rust quite quickly.

I’m assuming you have the controll switch in the front set to copy the front selection and not on the roof selection which could be set to hot

Quick update...

- I touched the hot water line for the heater, not the ac line. Disregard the hot a/c line commment.
- blows warm air on front control and rear control(both set to max cool).

- I suspect temp blending door is stuck / broken. I checked it with the GAp tool and it says 100% on cool but who knows if it’s actually closed?
