Having a play with dash look

Obviously I was a bit bored the other day so I decided to have a play with the look of the dash in the old Girl I’ve always had the walnut dash trims and whilst there not everyone’s cup of tea I’ve always thought they went well with the cream interior but I thought I’d see if I can freshen up the dash.

So I went ahead and got some new trims from the bay and set about painting them, gloss black was never an option for me, I fitted the dark silver trims and they didn’t float my boat either so I decided to play about with spray cans and found a similar colour to the leather, whilst not a great match I like the look time will only tell how well they stand upto wear and tear but it’s a fresh new look

Just out of curiosity, how much did you pay for the plastic wood effect trims? I couldn’t give mine away, ISTR they are still cluttering up a bit of my junk room somewhere, unless SWMBO’s chucked them.

For a perfect look I would have done them coffee colour to give a nice contrast like jaguar do.

Thats coffee with milk. Laughing

Good thing about paint is you can slap another layer on top, depending on mood. Censored
