Securing fire pit to spare wheel
I went camping last weekend and couldn't fit the big fire pit I'd bought the previous meet which was very frustrating
On giving up, I rested the firepit on my spare tyre stack and I noticed it fitted around a 19' spare beautifully with just a couple of cm larger diameter (firepit 920mm)
So does anyone have any ideas of how to secure this to my RLD security plate so I can attach and detach the fire pit easily for occasional use (won't be on there all the time)
Fire pit - legs will be off in transport
RLD plate in case you didn't know what they looked like

you could put a big hole through the middle and use the winch
How about some clips, clamps around the edge - but how heavy is it, and would the winch cable take it?

Al, I thought of the winch but wanted a quicker up and down affair .
I was thinking some something along the lines of some coach bolts

I think this is where I’m headed with strap.
James there would be a big back between the base of the pit and the RLD, would that matter for the Neodymium magnets?Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Surely a ratchet strap medium size from one side of the chassis through the handles and on to the other side of the chassis is sufficient
