Brake V8 upgrade or not?

So today had the amber brake light saying check the brake pads come up.
I've been toying with the V8 upgrade for a while, especially as now SWAMBO is using the old girl to tow a likestock trailer (along with the obvious fixed towbar option that I'll have to do! Rolling Eyes !)
Been through the various threads etc but does anyone have any recent recommendations?
I think AF looks the best at the moment for the upgrade or am I best just using Meyle or OEM brake pads to replace the worn?

Cheers,

It's the best of the standard options for me anyway, I also did the braided brake pipe option on one and that really makes a difference very firm positive braking ideal for towing.

I did the V8 upgrade front and back and it’s what should have been on the car from the start, very happy with the braking and you won’t regret it

Its the cheapest way to upgrade and not silly money in the future when you need to replace discs and pads again.

Mine came with the Terrafirma ceramic pads which give the same braking as normal pads but theres no brake dust stuck to the wheels.

I’ve just recently upgraded my RRS to standard LR discs/pads and as furnitureman says above, it’s brilliant and noticeable and should have been like that from the factory Thumbs Up . I notified my insurance and it was a no cost modification.

Thanks all.
I'm busy look at various sites, especially AF, for the V8 upgrade.
Think I'm going to bite the bullet and do it.
