ignition controlled 12v connection |
|
Hi everyone,
I am trying to install a relay controlled switch to my 12v direct battery feed to the end of the D3 for charging the camper whilst we are traveling.
To date I have to disconnect the anderson plug every time we stop up for the night and I would like that to be done via a relay when I shut down the engine as I have forgotten for a few days to the detriment of the battery.
I had a search for a suitable connection today but all I could find were the 2 12v power connections under the AC controls, however I was unable to get behind them, I felt if I used more force there would be new parts required!
Has anyone had experience in finding a point where to tap into the system?
Cheers

2 brown wires with purple stripe there.
I'd use the thicker one
