A very random and unlikely request..
As we all know, the list of problems for these vehicles is seriously long and sometimes extremely complicated.
This little request for help is not.. but chance of success is seriously unlikely, but I’ll ask anyway.
I have some home managed to lose one of the bits from My rear load cover, it will therefore not clip into place properly.
See pictures..
Does anyone happen to have on the off chance, a spare one, old one, broken one, parts of one etc etc etc, that they might not need the clip part anymore from the left hand side ( opposite side of the latch) pics added ( hopefully)
Thanks in advance.. 2005 Disco3 HSE Auto 😁

PM on its way Bubblehead I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Funnily enough I have a similar problem on my 2007 D3 7seat: the button to release one side of the load cover is completely missing (been like that since I got the car). The slidey bit that clips into the trim is still there and working, but just a hole where some sort of push button mechanism should be. It's usable with bit of faff or a little screwdriver, but would be nice for it to be complete. I've tried to get one from a breaker but they're only interested in selling me a complete load cover. Never thought to ask here. So same question as Bubblehead really

I had the same issue Kenny. What I did was latch a strig/little rope into that lip on the slider and glued it in place just in case. Now I can easily latch and unlatch from underneath the parcelshelf. I will take some pics when I have time.

Well I was lucky enough to have NoDo$h supply me with a replacement cover. I will grab the bit off it that I need - thanks again NoDo$h!!
If I then have any parts left that you need I will happily arrange getting them to you.
Post some pics of what you have missing and we’ll see what we can come up with.2005 Disco3 HSE Auto 😁
if NoDo$h has found you a cover, why not just use the whole cover ?

It has spent a few years in a barn unused ( ready for getting rid of apparently) and has grown a few marks on the cover.2005 Disco3 HSE Auto 😁

On the same (but slightly different) subject.
I bought my D3 without the cover. Then I got an 2nd hand one very cheap. Unfortunately, the cover was "upside-down" meaning the rolling part was reversed. Of couse I asked it even cheaper for my trouble to remove and refit. Which I did "easily enough".
My question is: Is there a correct/better way to re-glue, re-roll (with the spring) and re-fit the roller into the casing? Mine is "almost perfect" but I feel it could be better.
