Too slow to increase = compressor tired.
In extreme cases could be a leaky tank (you will hear hissing by the passenger door) in that case

Check your dessicant in the pump intake filter, simple to do, but when the get old / wet they clog up the air intake, reducing the air volume which makes the compressor struggle (like sucking through a blocked straw) and throws up the errors as it’s only pumping half (if you’re lucky) of he air it’s supposed to, hence the slow to raise

Even if its a good tips i still have too hear a intake filter that has been blocked.
Weak compressor and or leakage in reservoir tank is the common problems.

Hi Kviasen,

It’s the desiccant in the air dryer that clogs up over time, resulting in symptoms similar to these. They should be replaced at least every 5 years but as they’re not a service item they get left.

If you haven’t come across it on yours and never replaced them I’d suggest pulling your air dryer and taking a look.

Yepp the desicant is a problem but this is on the compressor pressure side and not on the suction side.
If the desicant container has the plastic cover they are known to crack and the desicant itself can turn to dust and block the felt filters in the container.

Hi sorry for delay. I wondered if you can tell difference between amk and hitachi pumps whilst still mounted. as i have decided having heard the row the pump makes I’m going to replace it.
