I bought an XC90 from a guy that had it serviced by them (Mercury cars - same company) and had no issues with it. Found them to be very helpful when checking on the history of the car as well, provided old service history etc... not used the JLR Essex part though... I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Kind of - the repair shop could not do a gearbox flush but referred me to a local company they use. This company said they wanted the car for a full day and would charge the best part of £600 for a gearbox health check, flush etc. I told them I didn’t want the add on’s but they said it was all part of the package.
This has put me off going this route and despite the inconvenience of a 12 hour round trip and an overnight stay, I’m sticking with Disco Mike to take care of my truck!!
