Hi
I've just bought a Disco 3, small issue, I had a Freelander 2, when I opened the drivers door all doors would open and all doors would open with a single or double pull of the inside handle.
This doesn't happen with the disco, none of the the other doors will open from the inside except
the drivers door.
Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing.
Basic model no computer screen.
So how do I make the drivers door opening open all doors?
How do I make the other doors open from the inside ( tried double pulling handles, doesn't work)

To unlock doors inside
Press the unlock button on the center dash

I know that but the door handles should be able to open the doors from the inside to let the passengers out.
Child locks not on.

So if the front passenger door will not open from the inside that is a fault. (Deadlocking on) and getting on for an mot failure
Maybe you have water in the cills inside and cable joints require resoldering.
The drivers door won’t unlock other doors though.
But as you say in the event of an accident the door pulls should open their own door

That sums it up.
No sign of water in the sills and I re-soldered the 3 wires but the joint looked fine.

probably the black/purple wires you should be looking at
or black/green

Thinking on this since, the remote opens and locks all doors (Single press entry set)
The center button opens all doors and the drivers door handle opens the drivers door.
So whats causing the other doors not to open?

If you stand on the passenger side.
Press single unlock to open drivers.
The motors on the passenger side should be heard as then undeadlock
There Are 3 lock positions
Unlocked
Locked
Deadlock (internal handles disabled )

So at present when I start to move and the doors lock they go to deadlock?
I can live with it but it just seems strange.
All doors unlock when I take the key out.

This is done to stop car jacking and low life's opening your tailgate at the traffic lights and helping themselves to the contents of your boot or opening the passenger door and lifting the wife's handbag off the passenger seat..............we all know that's where they put them now there is no manual choke to hang them on!
No doubt there will be an option to change this in settings.

Hi, if you want to lock and unlock ALL doors on a single shot, you have to press and hold (for at least 3 seconds) both "lock" and "unlock" pushbuttons on the plip standing out of the car  - Easy-Lift suspension module 4.0

I have that already done.
Its the way the doors open from the internal handles I don't like. Only drivers door opens all doors.
No other internal handle will open the doors.

If you have an IID tool there is a setting to enable/disable all doors locking.
