LED front indicator bulbs - D3

Hi everyone

The de-tangoed headlamps on my D3 have mirror chrome finish filament indicator bulbs in them and I am worried they are a bit dim/dull.

They really don’t seem all that bright in the daytime and I wondered if anyone else has noticed this and fitted/found any decent amber LED replacements?

Any recommendations ?

I have seen these, https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/3156-twe...-bulb.html - but not really found any others.

Thoughts or recommendations ?

Thanks

I had THESE on Money Pit from Twenty 20 & was very pleased with them.

In fact I think I still have them somewhere & some ballast resistors to stop the double flash on the instrument binnacle.

My wifes car (Audi) has them amber chrome indicator bulbs as standard, woeful is the best word for them.
tried new bulbs, tried std amber bulbs, still rubbish!

You simply cannot beat an amber lens with a white bulb behind it.

Change loads of the amber bulbs at work for showing white light or simply not amber enough.

Tbh most led bulbs seem pretty poor in daylight/half light.

These are very good:

Bought a pair when I couldn't get rid of moisture in the original repeaters. They are watertight and can be fitted in minutes.

Thanks for posting that - they are exactly what I am after, something much more visible.

You sound like you still have them and may not be using them.... looking to sell?
