Have you tried a system reset - that is, remove both battery leads and then short them together for around 30 secs. Is your battery in good condition and charged up.

Tried doing the hard reset no luck. Tried to disengage the handbrake using the emergency release cable again no luck.
Can’t believe just changing a brake pipe has caused all this.

You need to pull hard on the release cable, really hard!
Place a good strong rod in the loop end of the release cable and pull hard. Just make sure the transmission is in park or the wheels are chocked. If you straddle yourself between the front seats it's easier to do. Check the battery voltage and charge it if the voltage is below 12.5v.
If that's OK check the earth straps particularly the one from the transfer box to the chassis, but check all of them!!
Lastly, fill out your profile completely as it will help others to help you if they know which model, engine, spec, and year D3 you have. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
