[For Sale] Defender 110 Station Wagon - TD5
All, I’m selling my Defender
Price is £20500 ono
2002 Land Rover Defender 110 Td5 for sale with just over 63K miles and good service history.
The Landy was first registered by the MOD and most likely used in a warm climate environment to transport senior staff as the vehicle is a bright colour with black roof and fitted with air-con, built by Land Rovers Special Vehicle Operations department. It was released from service circa 2012, its first MOT being Sept 2013 at 30500 miles.
The previous owner covered a further 32K miles over 10 years until I bought it.
In my ownership it has had the following maintenance work completed:
Engine Service including the filters and new rocker cover gasket and front and rear cam cover seals as these were leaking.
5 x Goodyear Adventurer AT tyres
New LOF HD clutch with pedal assist spring, new clutch fork, new dual mass flywheel and rear main seal.
The light covers were replaced as these were broken in places
New spare wheel carrier and cover
New door hinges as these were worn, stainless nuts and bolts used.
New door mirrors as the originals looked very tired.
The Landy drives really well, engine pulls strongly and sounds as glorious as a healthy TD5 should.
High and Low range gears all work.
I think the interior is either the XS or Silver LE specification being half leather and it’s in good shape as are the rubber mats.
Outside the body and chassis are in good order for a 20 year old Landy probably due to its forces life being spent somewhere warm and dry.
Viewings are welcome, I live in Warrington Cheshire. If you would like to test drive the car, please arrange insurance before hand as my insurance doesn’t cover you.
I can do viewing daytime or evening and weekends by arrangement.

Senior staff would have been in a Disco, or a LandCruiser - us minions would have been in the Defender!
