[For Sale] 2006 HSE reduced to £5250
Some of you will know my history with a D4, and then this D3.
Following a 3rd engine on the D4, I had to buy something quickly to get me to the South of France, July last year.
Bought this D3 with a little over 100k on the clock, with full service inc. Belts just done. It took us to France and back, and then has had limited use. To be honest SWMBO didn't want to have a Discovery anymore, after how much we spent and lost on the D4. I wasn't exactly braking my back trying to sell it, hoping she would come around. I was enjoying riding my motorbike to work, and using it on weekends. Only real issue I have had with it, was the battery dying (My fault), and a wheel nut shearing.
Battery dying led to a lot of faults. Moo kindly lent me his IID tool, and after a full charge and some checking, just needed the steering angle sensor resetting. Wheel bolt was replaced by garage.
Usual HSE refinements, inc cubby fridge. Black external with light interior. Automatic. Fresh MOT.
For transparency, Bad point I know bout:
MOT Minor Defect-
NSF CV boot needs replacing
Advisory-
Rear number plate is marked
Underbody has corrosion, and could do with protection. Quoted approx. £400
NSF play on steering rack inner joint.
Since I've owned it, it has had:
4 new tyres
OSF wheel bearing
Front discs and pads
It has 11 stamps. 7 of which by Land Rover. Done less than 10k since Nov 2019.
Ready to go @ £5250 (and SWMBO says in needs to go soon!!!) got a Freelander 2 lined up.
I wont really be available from the 26th of July for 4.5 weeks, as I will be on holiday and working from home (read caravan).

Not aimed at anyone from this site.
I know people want a bargain etc, and I am open to offers for this, but why do people offer half the asking price, then get annoyed when you reject it. Especially, when they cant even be bothered to dome and look!!!!!!!!

I think it's just a manipulation tactic, some people will always be chancers and act funny when they don't get their way to try and make you feel bad or wind you up. Ignore them. Looks like a nice car and seems to be pitched at an appropriate kind of level.
