Just had this diagnosed...tried to blag but alas...£430.00 bill for new compressor, bracket and labour "you cannot teach stupid people to do clever things"

Just had this diagnosed...tried to blag but alas...£430.00 bill for new compressor, bracket and labour 
I'd double check that. I broke the bracket (into little bits ) and bent the mounting lugs on the compressor which in turn was making a horrible noise. LR replaced the bracket, straightened the lugs and remounted the compressor for AUD$500.

Picked the car up today, new compressor and bracket (i took the cover off to check ) "you cannot teach stupid people to do clever things"
