Random Oil Leak - Only happened once??

About a week ago I noticed a small patch of fluid on my driveway and the finger test confirmed it as engine oil. I haven't yet had a good look underneath to see if I can identify where from.

However, the weird bit is that after a week of driving and parking in slightly different spots or orientation on my drive, there hasn't been a single drop of oil since. Don't worry, the car has plenty of oil in it lol....it's not dry!

When I first spotted it, it was after a long motorway run of about 200 miles and I think the car was working relatively hard as I was pushing through a bitterly cold headwind. Is it possible that a long run maintaining higher oil pressure might have pushed through a failing seal somewhere but it's not leaking badly enough for normal daily short trips?

Not overly worried, more just a curiosity to be honest. I'm going to be replacing the oil pump in a few weeks so I'll be asking the indy to check for seals/leaks whilst he's taking it apart anyway.
