Yes - I can confirm that it is a unmarked police vehicle - watch you speed as I got pulled 3 weeks ago heading towards worcester on the A44.
I remember it had twin aerials on roof with a light unit and blue lights on front. sounds like police are being sneaky......I can only think its a all round vehicle as it had extreme 4x4 rubber on. Noticed a camera in front window below rear view mirror. also had private plates on and it was silver - any one else seen it?

It had a cb "springer" type aerial, but also another aerial that I couldnt identify.Work light on the back of the rack. Didnt get to see the front. Sidesteps was a bit unusual with all the offroad kit. The private reg was 5 digits ending in TWO. No wonder he didnt respond when I was up behind him waving and hitting the horn!!! Thank god I didnt overtake! Are you sure about his, It really didnt have a police feel about it. I couldnt smell bacon for one thing. Also the the herefordshire unmarked Skoda octavia drivers usually drive round in their hi-vis jackets! www.Bitter-sweet.co.uk

This had road tyres on, not extreme 4x4 rubber, windscreen looked clear also.

I have seen it before on the M50 and noticed it turn round and head back up towards Ross on M50. Good job I was behind it traveling at 60.

Extremely sneaky if it has a rack and RAI. On loan to West Mercia from LRE at Eastnor perhaps?

Being a hereford boy, I see this one regularly and have had a fairly good look at it. I've never spotted it as a plod vehicle.
Its often parked in Tesco's car park so I guess it's also being used by the rozzers out of hours to do the douhghnut run.
It's got all the kit on it, must be connected to Eastnor in someway.

I spoke to a chap in the tescos car park a few months ago with a similar silver D3, though wasnt identical, when I got out of the car he came over to me and started chatting, in his own words 'Im a bit of an enthusiast'. If I remember rightly he was an ex-copper.Nice chap too. He had an Expo rack on, but I think this was a frontrunner or similar, lower porfile with no plastic bits and I was pretty sure he had a TDV6 not V8, but I couls be wrong.
Cristoff, have you got a disco3 sticker on? I keep my eye out when Im around town, loads of Disco3's but no stickers yet! www.Bitter-sweet.co.uk

Hi Sidney,
Yeah I've a sticker in the rear window, but I dont drive around much between Monday to Friday - leave early and get back late-ish...
I've not seen another Disco3 sticker yet, but as you say there are quite a few D3's driving around our parts.. I see a spammed up reg B*GYT fairly regularly as well as the one spotted in this thread...
I'm in Edinburgh today and they seem to be everywhere up here. Not seen a Disco3 sticker on any of them though.
I'll keep my eye out!
Christoff.
