Kangarooing at idle in first gear on slip road.

I'm sure there is nothing seriously wrong but would appreciate someone in the know helping to diagnose what might be the culprit. My motor is a 56 plate S Manual model with 17k miles.

I commute between Glocester and Bristol and normally when I come off M5 at Jcn12 there is a queue of traffic. Previously I have simply selected 1st and let the clutch out and let it idle along and it would pull nicely up teh off ramp. Now - On the flat it is fine but when it gets to the gentle slope, it starts a gentle Kangaroo motion. My theory is that this might be something to do with the anti-stall and is probably a sensor or vacuum that is not performing correctly.

Any ideas?? - Over to you experts.

Definition of an 'expert'

:- Ex = Has been

Sorry, but no idea on the kangaroo sensation other than possibly due to the higher temperatures affecting the engine running. Does it run normally otherwise? if so I would not be overly concerned in my non expert opinion. Thumbs Up
