Bend it like Beckham
Got my black sidetubes 2 weeks ago on. Went Sunday offraoding. Both are bend. Just waistet a few hundred pound. How can they sell this at LR. If you sit up it bends the tubes up against the doors Lucky there was not more damage. I get them off as soon as possible.

Anything attached to the sides (apart form uncles sills) will reduce your ground clearance on ruts. Your ramp angle will also be compromised for the same reasons.
The width will also increase - further risking damage to side steps or tubes. Although the latter are not as vulnerable.
Leave you sill naked is the best thing.
Have yet to damage mine.

subtle bling
mounty you have been a member on this site for over a year - there has been plenty of posts about side tubes being NO GOOD as protection/siders - surely you should have realised this before trashing your own set
