| A list of all my D3 problems after 2700 mile round trip.... |
|
Well, as some of yoiu know, I've just done a trip accross Europe to Southern Tuscany.
Was a great trip, loads of sun etc & I may do a minor report to bore you with later on........
So I thought I'd create this post to list all of my D3 specific issues.
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
My list of non D3 specific issues.
1. a Whine in the rear passenger seats when the DVD finished
2. Front passenger seat whine only when 1 shows itself....
Can anyone help with any of the issues listed....?
Oh it seemed point 1 also appeared at random times when I needed to put the tent up/take down....? How To ? - Change your Brake Disks Pads Shoes Sensors August 2011 NEW V1.6a

Exactly as I would have anticipated.
I get the same issues but the whine in the back comes from a couple of four legged beasts The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

I did similar trip to Tuscany (Chianti to be specific), a bit shorter (2300 mile) with same list of D3 specific issues. | Il boit pour oublier qu'il vit

I went to France but SWMBO refused to drive such a long distance so I was denied the pleasure of the D3. The Boeing 737/Reanualt Megane combination was just not the same. (but the wipers were silent ).

it's not that far from here, we did trip home from Castellina in Chianti to Warsaw (1020 mile) in 18 hours including 4 stops at petrol station, 2 stops coz my younger boy felt sick, 40 mins break for eating and 1 hour break to change the blown tyre (it wasn't D3 specific but road specific and ofcoz happened in Poland).
Last year we did same trip in 15 1/2 hours but it was in September so much smaller traffic (and no probs. with tyres)
BTW I've decided to change tyre myself coz LRA here told me that only thing they can offer is to come and change the tyre and that thay can come in 1-1.5 hour | Il boit pour oublier qu'il vit

I know, I would be haqppy to drive but SWMBO seems unwilling to give a long journey a go, even in the D3. Of course, spending the same time driving to the Polish coast and being stuck in traffic on bad roads is acceptable to her

Good trip bodsy
I travelled 1400 miles in 26 hours back in November down to Spain, FULLY loaded including Roof Rack .Averaged approx 70 mph (excl stops) and not a single glitch. Same on the way back. Great car
(cost a fortune in fuel though Avg 21 mpg ) Duncan

My 2000 mile round to the Alps started with a whine in the front, but I soon relegated that to the back seat, the resulting swap also improved navigation.
As to fuel consumption I returned a disappointing 20mpg Formerly shiny moose
