Two fault warnings: suspension & adaptive headlights |
|
Within a week of getting my 10 month old Disco 3, two unrelated fault warnings came up on the dash: an amber suspension fault warning and a flashing amber adaptive headlight fault warning. The car is booked into Kentdale Land Rover (Kendal) for investigation but I was wondering if anyone else has had these warnings and what the outcome was. There are no indications of actual faults that I can detect.
Thanks. 2008 Discovery 3 HSE

Steering angle sensor fault or may be a level sensor fault, both = Dealer fix under warranty.
Not that you can do any thing with it, I think the steering angle sensor is located on the steering column in front of your knees when sat in the driving position. There is a level sensor on each corner of the car In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Indeed it was a faulty level sensor that caused both fault warnings to come up. Fixed under warranty.
Thanks for advice. 2008 Discovery 3 HSE
