Tie downs
Can anyone recommend a website that has a variety of tie-downs?
I'm building a drawer system to sit on one side of the boot (with one boot seat up), and I'm looking for options to secure the 'center ' section of the frame. Cheers.Disco 5 HSE Lux

Stu, can't help you much on the tie downs - on my project (which sounds pretty similar to yours) I managed to reuse the standard tie downs to pretty good effect. Had to get my dad to help me with his router though
During my research phase, I did spend a very exciting afternoon browsing http://www.wixroyd.co.uk/ which has some really nice shiny fixings. Prices seemed a bit steep though.
Can I assist you with a few of the extra bits and pieces that I ended up buying a surplus of to do my project? For example I've ended up with a load of M10/M8 bolts which I'm unlikely to get through in a hurry, quite a few metres of unbacked black carpet (it's brilliant, it hides a multitude of sins ) and loads of other stuff that I can't think of at the moment. Let me know if you can use any of it.
Rob, after Stu's fulfilled his needs could I get some of that carpet? The End

DiscoStu,
The STD lashing rings should be fine, but IMHO you'll have to
fabricate some type of lug to lash to in the center, using the seat retaining
bolts.D3 bullbar-spots-roof rack with spots-ladder-long range tank-swing out spare wheel carrier- upgraded tow bar-dash console-internal water tank-duel awnings-drawer system & T T.
Have your tried search any of the boat chandlers, or companies like Makefast

Think NSN's rails can be cut to length then mounted across the cargo area

Cheers Rob, that website is just what I needed It's given me a few ideas.....
As for the other stuff The carpet sounds great (I'll try and leave some for Slimer ). See you at the WG?
Discoeast - planning on using the existing rings on one side, it's the center ones causing me the grief. I've looked at putting an eye bolt (or similar) on the support post that sticks up for the 3rd row seat bases, but it seems rather flimsy underneath the cover. For the back of the boot I'll use something off of the seat mount Oh, and great pix/ideas in your gallery - if only I didn't need the other boot seat
