Spot lamps

i am fitting a set of front spot lamps (landrover part) i have heard that i need dealer to activate.......is this correct, what do they need to do?

If you use the standard LR wiring kit then the car's brain needs to be told that the lights are installed.

You have two options, other than the dealer. One is to get 10forcash to do it for you with his autologic (send him a PM), the other is to ditch the LR instructions and wire up a relay activated by the standard main beam lights.
