You have a fortnight for them to do it, assuming it goes out on an "06" plate.
Wouldnt have thought it takes even a day.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine. Trouble free in its first year.

The PDI ought not to take more than the day, but then the vehicle needs to be cleaned and taxed...so I'd reckon on 2-3 days from arrival at dealer, assuming they don't have a backlog.
Either way, still too long!

Slightly longer if there is a cherished transfer, as DVLA local offices can sometimes be a pain esp leading up to March & Sept 1st.

And also when to provide 'better customer service', local DVLA offices are now halting the ability to visit in person and get the paperwork done while you wait. Galling to think that you're paying for these 'improvements' as you wait an extra few days for a 5 minute stamp job. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

A pdi takes no longer than a couple of hours -tops
Of course any accessories requiring fitting extends that time.
