Does anyone know if there is much of a difference between Zermat and Zambezi silvers?

There are no cars in Zermatt at the moment to check, but I put the colour swatch against my Zambesi silver Discovery when I picked it up, and it looks a shade darker, but not by very much.
Regards,
Charles

It's just ever so slightly darker. That's all. Makes the car look less "white" in certain light.

Same conclusion here. I checked last week when I learned that despite having ordered early december an Zambesi D3, I will get a Zermat one end of february...
Looks good anyway and being Swiss I will be pleased to have car with a color named by a gorgeous village in the Alps!!

I think that there is a big difference between Zermatt and Zambezi! Although silver would have been my first choice, like my current VW, how could I, as a winter man, drive around in a Zambezi car? So I've ordered Arctic Frost, which sounds much more my thing. If Zermatt had been on offer then, I might well have taken that, having enjoyed the skiing under the Matterhorn.
Is there anyone else who chose their colour more on the sound than on the look?

Does anyone know the definative answer about the availability of the colour as we ordered Zambezi on the 15th Dec for delivery on 1st March and it would be nice to know if we are going to get Zermat instead.

Last I heard anything built after early December has the replacement colours.

Would have to agree. Just ordered a TDV6 in Zermatt yesterday. Looking at the dealers colour samples the Zermatt looked slightly darker than the Zambezi. As the dealer said, "you would find it hard to tell the difference unless you put them side by side" and I would have to agree.
