Hi Pete,
new to the site so please bear with me!
i just got my disco 3 2005 on 60k miles.
just had it serviced by an independant LR specialist, and in the process i had them do there version of mapping!
however i didnt realise that your version is self programmeable/switchable.
if i wanted your unit is it possible?
obviously i now no longer have an original map for you to start with so do i stick with what i've got or can you help?

DSD.
ps.i'm not saying there map is no good but i like the switchable idea,as you might be able to offer different maps for different events ie on road/ off road?

Hi
I could do something yes,but my interface would think your map is standard so if you ever needed to return your car to standard it would be the standard you have now which is tuned if that makes sence.

An original is not a problem the problem is getting it onto a BAS iterface in the correct menu order, i could do it no problem at all if the car were at my garage.
But if its by email then theoriginal would be in a tuned location thats all.

Pete,
i was hoping you'd say i could put:-
1. original LR map
2. current modded map
3.your modded map
+ any further maps for different purposes!
or am i asking too much and the differences between maps isn't that much that you need different types?

It could go that way but to do it in that order i need the car at my workshops to force the original into slot 1, with the execption of any further maps for different purposes as the tool only holds 3 slots.

Yes mate that is possibile without a drive to me.
As long as you remember if you do a dealer or any other garage visit you must return the cax to what the box thinks is original which is your map you have now what would be in location 1

Thanks Pete, very fast delivery of hardware.
Maybe a Windows 7, 64 bit error, I cannot get the USB cable to communicate to my PC.
Driver installation error, I followed the BAS installation instructions and navigated to the C:\BAS folder. 2005 TDV6 HSE Silver, LLAMS Height Controller, Tinted Glass, Onroad - 09 19's GG AT's, Offroad - 09 18's Cooper Zion LTZ, Traxside Dual Battery kit, Rasta Protection Plate, Alpine Roof, BAS Remap, ARB Air Compressor, eDiff Custom Drawer and storage unit - http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/use...r_unit.pdf HiRes copy -http://www.box.com/s/jem0ilac3cner2mexq64 UHF CB, Rock Sliders and Compressor protection plate.

Got home & tried using Windows 7, 32bit version.
No problem worked as intended.
Maybe you will need to add a 64bit driver as well to the files.

I'm well impressed
