 I guessed as much.
I've a traxide coming "up" in a week or so.I had the Optima YT in place whilst I was doing it to make sure I left enough room.I managed to find a bit of room for the remote in front of the air filter housing just over the OS headlight.Theres a vacant clip/slot there (on the filter chamber) for something to affix to.The remote box only temporary tied onto it with ties at the moment.But I'll make up a clip to fix to the back of the box over the next week or so.I'll take a pic of where I'm talking about tonight.Might be usefull for you in the future.
I got a few feet of cable today and hopefully I'll fit the last bit tonight and test the winch.
I bought an aluminium hawse with the plasma rope but since then found a black UHMW hawse which should easy on the rope.I was going to go with a SS hawse but got a good deal on all the bits from David Bowyer ( witha little help from NickTDV6  ).I can use the alu one as a spare if the plastic doesn't do the job.

I know of the "slot " ..i made a bracket up to slide in there and mounted ENT's GSM timer box to there after he was loosing signal with the optima in the aux battery box .
Mine dosent seem to affect the GSM unit so mine is still located next to the alarm sounder G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
