Hi all, well what an evening of events!......
Went down to local pub in South Farnham for the weekly quiz night (failed as normal! ), its down an un-made road and then a single track tarmac lane down to the pub in the valley.
Upon leaving, my friend in his A4 couldnt make it up the hill out the carpark . Tow rope out, hooked up and off we went . Not even a wheel spin or loss of traction from me . Audi was still wheel spinning up the hill. We thought it was the 19" low profile tyres that didnt help, but in the end I towed 4 cars up the hill and out onto the main road . All effortless and made me look like a complete pro - no one knew that I hadnt done it before - ever!
Anyway, I told my friend to go left out onto the main road and up home via a village that I knew was clear. I told him I was going back to get some others out and if he got stuck, call me and I'd get him towed again . As I left him he was struggling but moving - I returned to get some more cars....
Once back in the car park we heard !BANG!. , could only mean one thing. Then the call came - HELP!!!. He had struggled to get through to the village so turned around and went right (in theory) thus down a big steep hill, exactly where I said not to go!
He said he was going about 15 mph on a road full of slush and ice.... needless to say he thought a bit of speed would help him get up the other side..... it didnt - there is a kink in the road, right in the dip.
He hit the kerb at around 20 mph fully locked brakes and steering. He went up the back of a Citroen Saxo totally jacking it up and writing it off - that then hit an MG, totalling the rear end - both cars parked in the road.
All parties are fine and well now at home. Police couldnt get their LR90 down the hill so relied on my D3 to move all the cars to safety.....I then went back up the hill and dropped my friend off at home.
I must admit the D3 is a beast. Totally out driven any car this week - is there anything it could handle?. Driving 4 cars, some must weigh at least 2 tonne up a iced road and 30 degrees.

Nice job!
Two cars and his own, what a shame. I treat my own property well but treat others better. I would have been devastated. Good thing is that nobody was hurt. 2000 Discovery 2 Kent Green (totaled) R.I.P.

We expect to see you wearing orange "disco3.co.uk" underpants on the outside of your trousers at the next SE meet.
Mind how they wrinkle and fold when you sit though, if you hide some of the letters people might take you for an Audi driver
disco3.co.uk You cannot begin to comprehend the immensity of the I do not give.
