Hi how much do you think it would be for a set of used Disco 3 steps?
all i want to do is measure them for a project im doing, is there any way of down loading the measurements and bracket details from some where?
any help would be great, this project is just for fun
cheers

Side steps sell on eBay for anything between £170-£280. They are few and far between recently though.
Can't help with the dimensions though. Too much intellectual firepower can damage your common sense.

With out sounding stupid, the nearside is just the same as the offside but just the other way round, so if i have one step i would be able to work out the other side (in terms of bracket positions) from just that one step.
If that makes sence

You can remove the plastic trim and check out the mounting holes without the step - see the fitting instructions for the holes to use (blanked off with tape). That should give you the spacing for the mounts.

belive me heapster there is nothing I would love to do more, only one problem i dont have a D3 I have always been a fan of the D3 and Landrover. But with these side steps is a project i thought up while at the LRshow 08, long story and i will let you know if it works. But being 18 a D3 still a bit out of my range but im getting there
