Will be blanking egrs very shortley when parts arrive from ridgeback_moor  , run an 05 so out of warrenty and over the last month had enough of the things no power and starting issue on cold mornings etc. Did go to the dealers and they wanted £500 for the one erg valve to be changed  and he did say (serv manager) never quoted on valves beening replaced only changed on warrenty cliams @ that price no wonder mate ! so i will be blanking.  livin the dream baby !

My local dealer, when asked if the RHS valve failed out of warranty (LHS just changed under warranty), said it would be about £100 for the valve & same for labour. My car is going in tomorrow to another dealer, if I remember I'll get a price from these folks.

A mate who runs a automotive part store did get me a quote for 2x new valve £300ish. 1=£135 .00 and the ohter was £168.00 with out vat did consider this but year/two down road same problem maybe  . Dealer quote was 2/3 hours labour plus parts. livin the dream baby !
