Hi,
As I've started posting thought I had better introduce myself, picked up my new (old) D3 last Friday, had a fantastic drive home from Guy Salmon in Coventry, with a grin as big as when I picked up my Caterham.
Saturday, the niggles started, and it is booked in for Monday to have the warranty work done that they should have found on the PDI - Not a good start.
Disco is primarily for towing the Caterham to track days and family holidays, so hope to be having fun with both my toys !!!!
Looking forward to meeting up with like minded people
Based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire

Hi Rik, welcome to the forum. That caterham sounds lovely, bet the D3 wont even notice that its on the back. Hope you get the car sorted out, not really a good start on the part of the dealer, but i am afraid many land rover dealerships are falling way short of their customer service and the quality of service they offer. Hope to see you around

Thanks for the welcome
In no particular order :-
EPB Squeal - Delaer agreed to clean and adjust
Fuel Flap not locking - Dealer agreed to replace cable & peg
Front Coutesy / Map light not working - Dealer to replace / fix
Drivers Seat Sinking - Investigate, add lump of wood (LR recommended fix) maybe replace damper spring
Sales Guy has been great, but we'll see if the Service Dept comes up to the same standard this time around......
Immediate priorities (after its in and sorted), are Mudflaps, wire in the Tom Tom and enjoy it !!!!!!!! Discovery 3 S TDV6 Zambezi Silver

Thanks Duncan
As you say a known problem, I will let the dealer have a go, and if it doesn't work, I'll try the trick with the nuts in the spring tube that I've seen on here somewhere
The others all seem to be known issues too, just the usual D3 niggles it would seem
Whilst its still under warranty, the dealer can sort it, after that I may be after some more advice !!!!!!!
