Service Countdown - Digital display
Hello All
My 45k service has just been carried out but the digital display is still counting down, how do you reset this please?

Only the dealer or someone with the right electronic tools can reset it.

If the dealer did the service ask why they didn't reset it

Maybe something a Jeep/Chrysler dealer can't do

switch ignition off.
press and hold the mileage reset button.
turn ignition key to position ll.
the message " service " will flash for 5 seconds and then be permanently displayed.
note:if the service interval indicator function is not programmed the normal odometer and trip information will be displayed.
release the mileage reset button within 10 seconds to display " oil "
to reset " oil " service indicator : within 10 seconds press and hold the mileage reset button for at least 6 seconds. the message " reset " will be displayed for 5 seconds followed by " inspect "
to bypass " oil " service indicator resetting: within 10 seconds press and hold the mileage reset button for less than 5 seconds. the message " inspect " is now displayed
to exit resetting : do not press the mileage reset button within 10 seconds.
to reset " inspect " service indicator : within 10 seconds press and hold the mileage reset button for at least 6 seconds. the message " reset " will be displayed for 5 seconds followed by " date "

to repeat resetting : within 10 seconds press and hold the mileage reset button for less than 5 seconds
after 10 seconds : the service type and time/distance to next service are displayed.
switch ignition off.

Im sure that procedure only works on 08 (maybee 07 )

Can only be reset through the dash on 08MY>on models
Anything pre 07MY needs to be reset via a diagnostics machineMy D3 Build Thread
