Pirelli Scorpion STR Tyres

Hi,

I'm looking to replece my 3rd set of Scorpion Zero's Big Cry , The last set has only done 12K before they are down at the wear bars, they have worn evenly so i have no tracking/ wheel alighnment problems , this last set seems to be softer rubber than the previous 2 sets, I do alot of motorway driving and tow the Tintent regular so a bit more off road grip would be good for getting on and off some pitches,
I'm looking at Pirelli STR's as an option, anyone had any experiances with these tyres?

or are the ATR's the better option?

your opinons would be greatfully appreicated Bow down

Hi, I previously had Zero's which became completly useless after only 15k miles. A week ago I had ATR's fitted and am amazed how much quieter on road they are, they corner great and there's shed loads of grip in the wet. Only last night I was thundering along at 90 (no national speed limit here in the IOM) in the pouring rain and the handling was superb.

I have only ventured off-road twice in the week I've had them but at a local quarry last weekend they were superb. Granted I only have the Zero's to compare them with, plus they are only a week old, but for my needs I couldn't ask more from them really. Biggest surprise was that I managed to get 4 fitted for less than 700quid !!
