Single Horn on 05 and below?
Very odd.
Stealer told me one of my horns wasnt working.
Whilst at independent having a sensor replaced, I had a sneaky peek and could only find 1 horn (looking at front of car, it was grill height on left).
Mechanic couldnt find the other either so decided it must have always been like that. Anyone else seen this?

I picked my lad up from home yesterday afterwork & said I'd bip the horn when I was outside (I then ahve to turn around to come back) so when I bipped, it soiunded really feeble & most un-manly like. Will have to have a look, but I suspect one of them is faulty......Bodsys Brake Bible
Common fault - water ingress kills them on early years.
Has this happen twice where one stayed working but other failed - both times dealership reported it and fixed albeit they were on back order as usual.
Get the dealer to check it!!

Hmm, so where is the second horn fitted then?
As stated at top, only found one at the fron left had side (grill area).
Independent I spoke to reckoned early models only fitted with 1 and NOT 2?

Remove the passenger side headlight and look next to the coolant tank

Or look behind this flap ..you should just see the 2 pin connector on the top of the horn

So looks like you are a "Sparky". That explains why you are always finding nice electronic gadgets to build in your D3.Roel

Wiggs, is that horn easy to get to, or can it be fitted somewhere else near it's connector?
