Wanted Late Manual SE or HSE

Having sold my Discovery II I am in the market for a manual gearbox Disco III.

Must have SE “type” specification including Leather, Heated Front Seats etc..

“Country” colour preferred, such as green, certainly not black or white.

No “bling” accessories such as running boards, privacy rear windows etc.

I am an immediate cash buyer.

PM me if you wish.

Think you will struggle for a manual HSE?

Agree with Adam, not many manuals around, also would not consider tinted glass a 'bling'. They prove extremely practical for Dogs and kids....

Whistle Whistle

Agree with Neil, the GLASS area on a D3 is huge, and the car does benefit to privacy glass for the passengers

Privacy glass - Personally think it suits D3 shape - and also useful

If you haven't already done so, take a long drive in both the auto. & the manual, before deciding.

I'd driven manuals for years before buying my D3, but I'd never have a manual D3. Plenty of others here with the same opinion.

I only have a Manual because the wife doesn't know the difference between a clutch and a brake in an 'Auto'.

try BCA at blackbushe, or Manheim bristol, can get good stock from either site. Thumbs Up

or ring Yeovil Land Rover, ask for "The Large One" aka Nick in parts, explain your a member of the forum, they may have gone and bought some stock from BCA Birmingham this week where LR was selling 33 late model D3's along with 70 plus other LR's. Thumbs Up

From what you say, the XS may suit. The late ones have leather, satnav. I agree with others re privacy. As for a non black. It is the most popular colour, so you may knock out 45% off the potential market, especially when going for a manual.

My previous disco 3 was HSE manual. When I traded it in dealer said exactly the same thing very very rare.

Went for the autobox this time round was told they hold their value allot better.

We have an hse manual, in black with privacy glass. I can see the appeal with an auto, but just don't want to live with one.

Thank-you

Thanks for your posts.

In the end I bought a heavily discounted one month old pre-registered XS with 4 miles on the clock, manual, leather, etc..

No heated seats but the dealer had after-market heading pads fitted before delivery.

Seems very good - so far!

Sorry.

With this post I only have 4 posts, and can't respond to PMs until I have 5 or more.

I will respond to PMs when I reach 5 posts.

In the mean time I can confirm I bought from a LR dealer not through an agent.
