Thanks for that ad15, not sure my mind is quite warped enough to follow you on the PJ though.
for the ,thank you for your kind words and appreciation, i hope all the pictures did not slow down the thread read. I sure did not fancy doing the job on Wiggs' drive in the wet and rain though :blub:
I know it all looks quite complex and stuff, especially when its all thrown in a heap, but when you lay it out like i did, it all starts to make so much more sense and suddenly it is not really complex at all. What amazed me is how similar the RRS loom was.
Although i obviously enjoyed making as good and as finished a job as you could ask for, as i said at the end of my post i really do now feel that i know the D3 wiring like the back of my hand, it is quite inspirational. I guess that we all know and use the D3 on a daily basis yet so few of us ever get to see it's heart and soul laid out like that, and as Wiggs said, now we know whats possible and what is not.
As for how many metres of wiring that is, all i can tell you is that i used 40 just to add in 4 extra speaker wires.
