hope its a world wide launch, As I can wait to forward all my jokes and send family pics of the kids to their phones
the OS3 sounds like its free to iPhone 3G users and $9.95 to Touch users,
Loads of cool stuff on the update,
so looking forward to it.

Belgium law forbids hardware to be restricted to a certain network operator.
If all else fails, you can buy a sim-lock free one there.

I have tryed it , but too many apps didnt work , so removed it .
Copy and paste was very good , could not get the MMS picture messages working (think it was a network thing as im on Orange )
Search function was pretty cool aswell Jailbreak did not work , but i read last night this has now been fixed on 3.0 beta 5 , so i may have another go at itG4 Gone ...but not forgotten
Welcome, technoweenies, to the joys of the corporate shafting. I'll stick with my S60 based phones with their ability to cut and paste from the web browser, ta. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

hmmm, when i signed up to my phone "con"tract about a year ago i was fully aware that it was for 18 months, and i was also fully aware thatthe chances of a newer version coming out about this time was probable as it's the "apple way"
not sure why people are complaining though as it was ll there in the print, wasnt even small print,,,,,
wait 6 months and get the next one,,,,
not sure why they're all moaning, it's not like it was a suprise being dropped on everyone, the phone still works just fine, it's not like it was a crap phone, only 3 days ago everyone lovedtheir iphone and it couldn't be topped, now just a few days later everyone wants shot and to get the next new version??
Well it certainly appears that the tethering functionality will be an O2 only package?I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Well, I liked my iphone yesterday, I like it today and I'll continue liking it until my contract runs our in December, where I'll then move on to liking my NEW NEW software updated 32Gb video enabled iPhone Bodsys Brake Bible
ad, absolutely with you on that. "ooh, I know I signed an 18 month contract but I don't want it know". Sure, try it on if you want, we all do that every day, but not with the self-righteous sense of false entitlement these wieners are displaying.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

TomTom function might be pretty good for speed cash cameras warnings and the like
I agree on those whinging about not been a free upgrade, nobody complains when Sony Ericsson brings out a new phone mid contract, you just wait till your upgrade day
Luckly for me my Orange contract is up soon anyway

is the tomtom going to be part of the 3.0 software upgrade or is it 3gs specific?
