Ken would have been cheaper - so ask him first. Would rather have gone with him, but punctures prohibited. You'll have to get prices from him directly Thumbs Up

I got them from http://www.dtsthorne.co.uk/ Handy to get to as just off the M18. They were the only place that had them in stock that weren't being stupid with prices (some places wanted £170 all in). They did a good job and took their time balancing. Even swapped my spare alloy with one of the ones that was a bit dinged and then put one of the tyres from a different rim that had a decent bit of tread on back on it as a spare. There was an older lad in there that new his stuff and fitted the tyres for me - even knew about keeping the spare wheel winch tight when winching back up. They apparently fit the AT2s to a lot of commercial vehicles and agric stuff.

http://www.ianbrowntyres.co.uk/ presumably a bit nearer you were also recommended to me by another forum member and did a good price, but didn't have them in stock, and I needed them urgently.

As I say, I'd try Ken first, but I paid £105/corner + VAT (incl fitting/balancing etc). If you do go there, mention the forum, you never know we might be able to wangle some discount. Thumbs Up

So, I need some tyres for my D£, I like general grabbers so who is "Ken" please?

Just put AT2s on. Definately noiser but appears to lessen as speed increases. Confused

Smooth and the noise is not intrusive, I just think the D3 is just really quiet. Thumbs Up

Perhaps it's just me, but I think that getting 25,000 miles from a set of tyres on a vehicle that weighs close to 3 tons & has a shed load of torque is pretty good.

25,000 is about what I got in km from the Wranglers. Laughing Shocked

Off Topic
I've got through a set of tyres in one track day driving my HSV R8 Clubsport (VX) which was supercharged to c.540bhp. Rear tyres could last up to about 6,000 miles, but normally didn't. Fronts could last about twice as long.

I'm pleased to be getting up to 20,000 miles from a set of soft(ish) compound Pirelli's on my D3. Considering the weight & torque of the D3 & the fact that it corners really well for such a vehicle, I reckon that sort of mileage is excellent.

Currently running ATR's but too early to comment on how they're wearing.

From Blandford tyres and exhausts. they are part of the pro tyre group and did a price match. The original price came in at £450 but they had the tyres in stock (not sure how long they have been sitting there!) so they said they could do them for £440 Very Happy
