Stuck Suspension - intermittent

Hi All,

Any thoughts on what happened to me today.

Three times my suspension warning light has come on and the fault says 'suspension normal mode only'.

Three times I have pulled over, turned off for a couple of mins, restarted and fine for the rest of that particular journey.

Always in the first few mins of a journey.

Weird.

Any thoughts?

Cheers Thumbs Up

Hi Bigdave

Possible height sensor fault, but someone with more knowledge will be along soon Thumbs Up . That's how mine started then after a couple of weeks suspension went crazy and settled into 'safe' mode on the bump stops.. Fault was a corroded wire to one sensor.. Dealer replaced all four (one per day at a time) under warranty. As soon as I got it back I gave all the sensors and wiring/connectors a good squirt of waxoyl.

Need to get the fault codes read. Sounds similar to my recent problem where I needed a new compressor. My fault light was initially intermittent but the message read suspenssion fault normal height only. 10forcash very helpful, fixed ine yesterday. if you contact him use email rather than pm. I live in Leamington, I think he is regualrly in this area.
