Verydisco,
The picture u have in your gallery of the stag, I gather that was taken on the hillside carpark, the one on the long bend at ranoch moor / glencoe area.
There are two or three very thame deer that come right up
to the edge of the parking area along there. I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

I will be there myself shortly. Just inspected me
camera kits and lenses tonight. Battery packs all ready to go and both tripods
cleaned and ready.
Make the trip up twice a year, every year and Love it every time whatever the weather. I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

Talisker - that's the name of my cough medicine.
I have quite a nasty cough just now requiring repeated doses of cough medicine.

Seriously, I am convinced that Skye/Islay malts have specific antiviral properties and even if I'm wrong, it's much more fun than Tamiflu... There may be a problem with my viruses developing resistance to 10-year-old Ardbeg, though. Need to do more research on that.... 06 TDV6 2.7litre (!) SE Tonga Green

Quality, good to see some photos of the Isle of Lewis posted. I head over there now and again as just on the other side in Ullapool. Plenty of opportunity to get some good dark atmospheric photos over there....

Quite true that Zermatt in Zermatt is impossible. I'm in Switzerland now and you have to park up and take a train for the final leg to Zermatt.
I am building a house on the very beautiful Isle of Harris shortly (connected to Lewis) so Zermatt in Stornoway will happen! Paul

90BHP,
Looks like you had some great weather. Been up that way when it was normal, pishing down. If you'd have taken the same photo's in normal conditions you would'nt have been able to see the car. Stornoway grey is probably the best descriptions of any colour I've seen.
