We went round in the morning - from the marshals' comments, I think we were only about the second D3 to have done so
Did the balance beam too - shame there wasn't a photographer to catch that, I imagine my face was quite a picture as it started to drop...
And just to prove it's not all for the drivers:
Who was this then?
I did see what I assume was Non-stick Nick's rather heavily tricked out D3 (complete with serious bramble rash, ouch!) but never with anyone in it, and just missed saying hello to a be-stickered MUD plate as it headed off to the course.
All in all, a great day out, and my first chance to really see what the D3 is capable of - VERY impressed with how easy it all seemed, even on very worn Scorpions

Distinct lack of D3's about when we were there on Sunday morning
Did most of the hard sections and was so impressed with the lack of fuss the D3 made, but did bottle the final muddy steep bit and also gave the mud run a miss after seeing too many failed attempts - although afterwards found out that the D3's were making it through no probs at all
Few pics - sorry no D3's on the course, although I think this is Nick:

I swear the see-saw was at least twice as steep as that when we went over it
All these pics bring out something else that's been somewhat absent this summer - it was warm and sunny!
