Hi all...
Sorry not been on Disco3 for while ...car has been running like clockwork save for brake prob...
had brake shoes replaced as brakes were not too good....also had 4 new tyres and had the tracking etc re alligned... had vibration from steerring wheel too ..thought that would sort things out but no...still not right
so back for another set of brakes and drums this time still didnt cure it...went to yeovil in the end and they said there was going to be a recall.....Mine was included and it went in this week to canterbury
Not much explaination of what they did under warranty
but the also said it needed new tyre!
4 months and just 3, 000 on road driving!¬!
anyone else had this type of thing?
PS lent me a freelander2 for 24 hours whilst mine was at dealer
What a great improvement over our freelander w reg of ten years back...the new one is a nice car to drive id have one but NOT to replace my D3
only anoying this was silly key start
Why not just have a key to turn??why the need for a push start button as well?? I did find this very anoying (but then at my age I find EVERYTHING ANOYING...............................

most probably the recall they were referring to is the brake vacuum recal (P017) - see http://www.disco3.co.uk/wiki/index.php/Recalls 2013 D4 TDV6 S; Baltic Blue; IID Tool BT
2007 D3 TDV6 SE, Auto; club Faultmate MSV2
