Don't have a iPhone so can't comment on that I'm afraid. Andy

Hi all,
New member here, just took delivery of a 55 plate Discovery 3 very nice vehicle. Basically with a new daughter and my love of fishing i needed something big and i have always liked the Disco so i bought one.
Anyway, sorry to resurrect an old thread but i could do with a bit of info...
Basically as i have opted out of a company car scheme i need to install a bluetooth kit, i also have an ipod touch, so therefore this product suited what i needed. I have been to a local car audio shop and have been told that i cannot fit it for one reason or another.
Now i am not very tech minded so i don't understand why. If i give you what i have installed in the car, can you tell me if it is do-able, and if so what kit i need so i can tell the nice man..
Harmon Kardon System
Multi Change CD Player
Thanks in advance...

Hi Derkster,
Welcome to the site!
The Parrot 9200i will fit your vehicle just fine, although it's not entirely plug and play. The required leads are detailed in my post earlier in the thread.
Connecting the phone part is straight forward as it uses the same connections as the Land Rover after market kit.
The iPod part will require your fitter to use the line level output of the Parrot and connect it to the line in of your head unit. There's a wealth of info on this site telling you the options for doing that so have a search around.
My preference for connecting power is to use piggy-back connectors in the fuse box. The switched live is best taken from the infotainment feed off fuse 58. Permanent live can also be taken off a fuse but from memory I don't have the number.
Cheers,
Andy Andy

Thanks Methley, so it can be done with a few leads and a bit of knowledge.
Don't know if this is allowed, but could anybody recommend a fitter in the Bolton area that could do this without giving me headaches?

Hi all,
Another newbie here. I've just done the same thing and opted out of the Company scheme, pulled a 5 year old D3 off site (I build houses) to be my personal vehicle . I've just purchased and had the 9200i kit fitted by Halfords and it works brilliantly. £223 for those interested including all connections etc and surprisingly excellent service.
The one drawback - my daughters now control the music and there is only so much Lady Gaga and bloke can take!!!!!
